New 44 Book Coming Soon!

Hi, Everybody!

Just a quick note to let you know that the new 44 Book will be coming out this month...
As you might guess from the cover, there are a few minor changes this time around.

I wanted to write a standalone 44, a book where anybody could read the story and be able to follow it without having to read Books 1-7. There are no spoilers. (Of course, fans of 44 will have insider knowledge on a lot of things.)

For those who still really like counting, Dark Was the Night is unofficially Book 8 in the series.

    This isn't the type of book that I would have normally picked up, but the description sparked my interest. I was hooked after the first book and anxiously awaited each new installment. The books are well written and not only capture your interest but hold it and keep you coming back for more. I can't wait for book 8 and have been checking every day to see whether or not it has been released. I agree with a previous poster that I hope you are already working on book 9. :) Thank you for all of your efforts. I really enjoy your work.

      We are soooooo very close to the release date of Book 8 (Dark was the Night) Within the week it will be out.
      Thanks again for such a great email...Book 9, of course, is in my thoughts...but not too seriously until a nice little vacay :)

      I just saw it today on my lunch break and am already several chapters in. I won't be able to get back to it until tomorrow but I'll finish it before the day is over. I love it so far. I hope you enjoy your vacation. I'll be anxiously awaiting your return (and your next installment). :)

    Been checking everyday, really go hooked and enjoying the 44 series. On a sad note I will have to wait longer as I'm off on holiday early hours Monday morning.

    love the series.. but I have a question, is Dark was the night book 8? if so cant wait to read it.

      If you read the descriptions Jools put in her blog under the cover of the new book she said it is written as a stand alone so new fans can pick it up and start reading but for those of us that have been reading since the first 44 book it is considered book #8.

    Hi Jools, have loved the 44 series and there HAS to at least be a book 9. Too many things are left unanswered. Just to let you know, your writing has a target market for pre-teens and teens. I am a 62 year old grandmother of a 16 year old. She's too busy with homework until spring break to read all the books I've been reading. Believe me, I read every genre from 50 Shades to Anne of Green Gables. I love your writing style. Keep posting updates. Thanks, Elaine
