Happy New Year!

I've been battling a bug all week, but the beauty of the morning sunrise had me standing out on the deck in my socks, camera in hand, loving life and snapping shots like someone who, er, might have a fever...But I like to think of these kind of inspirational skies as a sign, especially because it's the beginning of the new year, and I didn't want to miss it, not for one second.

Then I thought that I should post one of the pictures here, today, along with my wishes for a great New Year to all!

Also, just a quick note to let fans of the 44 series know that Book 3 will be out February 14, 2012.  Thank you to those who asked :)

Hope you are having a great day, wherever you may be~

  7. I read book 2 this morning. Can't wait for the next one. I wasn't expecting it to end with a cliffhanger and was surprised when it said 93% and no ending in sight. Love this series and can't wait to share with my 11 year old daughter. She reads on her kindle every day.

  11. I found your book by accident and downloaded it to my kindle fire on Amazon. I started book one and didn't stop until I finished book two. I was pleasantly surprised about the book taking place in Bend. My husband and I are from Grants Pass but have been living in Oklahoma for 6 years. We honeymooned at Sun River and I snowboarded and vacationed at Bachelor all through high school. Its neat to read this and really be able to picture the places you mention. We desperately miss Oregon, so any time I can sit and reminisce...I do! I am so looking forward to 2-14, and kudos on a job well domes, you are very talented. Marcie

    1. Hi, MommaMouse!
Thank you so much, fellow Oregonian!
I'm so glad you found the books! I know what you mean about reading about places that are close to the heart~I love it when I find those books.
It sounds like you practically grew up on Mt. Bachelor~ Wow. That would be hard to leave behind:)
Speaking of, did you hear that the mountain got 5 feet of snow in the snowstorm this past week and had to close? They've only had to do that one other time in the last 20 years...
I hope you have plans for a return to Oregon, and thanks for stopping by the blog~
      I have to admit that I can't wait until 2-14 either :)
